AEMT

Georgia Institute of EMS

The AEMT program extends the EMT level with advanced capabilities, including IV administration and advanced airway management. This course involves 150-200 hours of classroom instruction and a minimum of 48 hours of clinical training in the field. Students will learn to provide comprehensive patient care, administer additional medications, and perform skilled medical interventions.

Georgia Institute of EMS

The EMT course prepares students with the knowledge and skills to become competent emergency medical technicians. The program includes over 150 hours of classroom training and more than 24 hours of clinical field experience, covering airway management, patient assessments, and treatment of medical conditions. Graduates will be equipped to perform childbirth, treat trauma, and transport patients professionally.

EMT-R

Georgia Institute of EMS

The EMT-R course is designed to fill the gap in EMS personnel by offering 80 hours of instruction, covering essential EMT skills. Trainees will learn basic cardiac life support, trauma management, and emergency vehicle operation. This program prepares students to assist EMTs and Paramedics in delivering emergency care and to operate in varied pre-hospital settings.
