An emergency medical technician (EMT) is a frontline responder trained to provide basic emergency care, including CPR, bleeding control, airway management, and patient assessment. EMTs are vital in stabilizing patients and transporting them to medical facilities.

A 19-week course meeting Mondays and Wednesdays for 4 hours each night, covering 120-150 hours of training including medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, trauma, cardiology, OBGYN, pediatrics and ambulance operations. Includes hands-on skills training and clinical internships.

Teaches responsibilities in performing emergency care and operations, develops diagnostic skills in emergency treatment procedures, and develops skill in the use of and care of life-saving equipment. Produces candidates qualified to take the National Registry skills and written exam.

OSH 101 course providing basic life support training. Upon completion, students can provide basic life support to victims of emergencies and minimize discomfort and further injury. Includes training in suctioning devices, airways, bag mask resuscitation, oxygen equipment, splints, and bandages.
