The UAMCTM Paramedic Program is a nationally accredited program that prepares paramedics who are competent in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills) and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter the profession. The program provides students with the skills, knowledge, and clinical experience required to provide safe and effective prehospital care. The program integrates classroom, laboratory, and applied clinical practice following the National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards. Successful graduates are eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification examination and apply for licensure through the State of Arkansas.
