Fire Academy Program

The MJC Fire Academy is a rigorous, state-accredited one-semester program preparing participants for careers in the fire service. Students attend classes covering topics like fire behavior, fire protection systems, and emergency medical services, culminating in State Fire Marshal certifications such as Fire Fighter 1. The program includes intensive hands-on training and requires successfully passing psychomotor skills and cognitive exams.
