A course designed to prepare students to pass the NREMT certification exams and work as a competent entry-level EMT. Students gain knowledge and skills to assess and manage a variety of injuries and illnesses, including emergency scene management, anatomy and physiology, airway management, spinal and bone/joint motion restriction, ambulance operation, and specialty topics. Clinical experience with minimum hours required on an ambulance is mandatory.
