Introduction to the advanced life support program. Emphasis on the Department of Transportation Advanced EMT guidelines and related topics relevant to the practice of pre-hospital emergency medical care at the Advanced EMT level. Will involve at least 262 clock hours of didactic learning, at least 72 hours of ambulance rotation to include ten emergency ALS runs, and 60 hours of clinical rotation.
