The Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMS-B) program is designed to prepare individuals to provide basic healthcare assistance at the scene of the illness or traumatic injury. Program graduates are awarded a short certificate and are eligible for consideration to take the National Registry of EMT Basic Examination.
