The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) is designed to prepare individuals desiring to expand their career in Emergency Medical Services with the ability to initiate intravenous therapy and limited pharmacology. This course qualifies students completing this program to work or volunteer as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) for a fire department, ambulance services, or in private industry.
