The EMT program provides basic and advanced life support to patients in the pre-hospital emergency setting. The KCC EMT program is approximately 16 weeks in duration. For City and County of Honolulu employees, the EMT Academy is a work/study training program where employees attend school full-time while receiving full-time pay and benefits, with the City paying all tuition costs and fees.
