This program is a prerequisite for the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Program and is essential for those pursuing careers in law enforcement, firefighting, or emergency medicine. Training includes a combination of classroom instruction and clinical lab experience, where you'll learn basic first aid, CPR, patient assessment, airway management, shock and bleeding control, triage, and both emergent and non-emergent patient movement.</cite>
