The EMT-Basic Program is a one-semester course preparing students for entry-level EMT positions. The curriculum includes 176 contact hours focused on life-saving skills and scenario-based practice, plus 84 hours of clinical rotations. Students complete their training ready to pass the National Registry EMT-Basic Certificate test and become certified to work in Texas.
