A 1060-hour course designed to train individuals to provide advanced emergency medical care in the pre-hospital setting. The course is divided between 600 hours didactic (classroom, lab, written and practical skills examinations and review), 300 hours field internship with an EMS agency, and 100 hours clinical education at a hospital.
