This program prepares students to function as AEMTs, providing advanced pre-hospital care to patients. Students will cover topics such as trauma management, patient assessment, and EMS operations. Graduates are eligible to take the NREMT AEMT exam for certification in Texas, broadening their career opportunities in emergency medical services.

This AAS program equips students for a career in EMS, allowing them to apply for EMT certification after the first semester. It incorporates general education and specialized courses, culminating in the NREMT Paramedic exam. Graduates are prepared for a licensed Paramedic role in Texas, enhancing their career and educational prospects.
