Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Certificate

Wharton Campus

This program prepares students to function as AEMTs, providing advanced pre-hospital care to patients. Students will cover topics such as trauma management, patient assessment, and EMS operations. Graduates are eligible to take the NREMT AEMT exam for certification in Texas, broadening their career opportunities in emergency medical services.

The Paramedic Certificate is for students with a current EMT or AEMT certification. It includes coursework in advanced practice, trauma management, and EMS operations.
