Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)

The Emergency Medical Response (EMR) course at the Washington County Career Center equips students with critical emergency first aid skills and knowledge to handle illness and injury symptoms. Through a mix of hands-on skills and ride-along opportunities under EMS professionals' supervision, students are prepared for the Ohio Emergency Medical Responder certification and the National Registry exams. The program focuses on providing essential life-saving skills as a secondary responsibility in emergencies.
