The Emergency Medical Response (EMR) course at the Washington County Career Center equips students with critical emergency first aid skills and knowledge to handle illness and injury symptoms. Through a mix of hands-on skills and ride-along opportunities under EMS professionals' supervision, students are prepared for the Ohio Emergency Medical Responder certification and the National Registry exams. The program focuses on providing essential life-saving skills as a secondary responsibility in emergencies.
