This Associate of Applied Science degree includes both classroom and clinical experience. Topics include the role and responsibilities of paramedics, public health and wellness, medical/legal considerations, pharmacology, patient assessment, airway management and cardiology. The three-semester program includes a five-credit hour field internship. Enrolling students must be a licensed advanced emergency medical technician.
