An EMT with advanced training provides basic advanced life support to patients at the scene of injuries or illness and continues treatment while patient is being transported to a medical facility. The Technical Certificate provides advanced skills focused on the acute management and transportation of critical patients. Enrolling students must be a licensed EMT or have completed basic EMT education within 120 days.
