A 15-week full-time on-site program combining classroom, lab, and clinical training. Designed for licensed EMTs seeking to further their education. Coursework focuses on pre-hospital patient care using advanced clinical protocols. Clinical rotations occur at sites across the VUMC enterprise and local EMS organizations. Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians AEMT certification exam.
