Prepares students with hands-on training needed to save lives in emergencies through a blend of classroom instruction, skills labs, and field experience. Students learn to assess patients, manage airways, treat trauma, and respond to urgent medical situations. Curriculum covers anatomy and physiology, EMS operations, and patient communication. Students practice through simulated scenarios, ride-alongs, and clinical rotations. Completion typically takes 7 to 24 weeks, with an additional 2 weeks for clinicals. Prepares students for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam.
