Second of two courses that prepares students to provide prehospital assessment and care for patients of all ages with a variety of medical conditions and traumatic injuries. Areas of study include leadership on emergency scenes and EMS operations, recognizing and managing hazardous materials scenes, sizing-up and triaging emergency patients during mass-casualty incidents, responding to incidents of terrorism, and emergency vehicle operations.
