A registered apprenticeship with the Vermont Department of Labor. Apprentices are hired employees paid for all hours at work for required training, clinical experiences, and field training. The program includes orientation, CPR & First Responder training, driver training, approximately 15 weeks of EMT class with independent study homework and in-person class days, ambulance shifts, emergency department clinical time, and field training phases.
