An 11-month blended/hybrid program consisting of lecture, demonstrations, near-to-real life skills evaluation, and both hospital and field internships. Students develop knowledge and skills for advanced emergency care of ill or injured persons and are prepared for the NC State and/or National Registry Paramedic Exam. The program includes Endurance Training for EMS (ETEMS) with physical training sessions at the end of each class day.
