First year includes general education requirements (Anatomy and Physiology, English, Math, Liberal Arts and Science courses) with NYS EMT certification available in first semester. Second year is a 12-month commitment focused entirely on paramedic education with lecture/lab two days per week and hospital/field rotations extending through summer.
