The ACLS Initial course is for healthcare professionals involved in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. The course covers basic life support skills, airway management, pharmacology, management of ACS and stroke, and effective communication in a resuscitation team. It is a 2-day course designed to enhance competency in critical care scenarios.

The Staten Island EMT Basic program follows a revised New York State Department of Health EMT curriculum. It includes both didactic and clinical training sessions with a 16-hour field internship on an ambulance. Students receive a CPR certification card, textbook, and necessary tools, along with access to an online area with additional resources. Classes are scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
