Prepares students with the knowledge and skills required for entry-level EMT certification. Students complete 170 hours of training including classroom instruction, skills labs, simulations, role-playing, tactical decision-making exercises, and 24 hours of supervised field experience. Upon successful completion with 80% or higher grade, students are eligible to take the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) exam.
