An intensive course in pre-hospital emergency care that is in compliance with the National EMS Education Standards and Utah State Bureau of Emergency Medical Services for EMT. Includes 130-150 hours of class, 10 hours of clinical in a hospital and ambulance association, and approximately 15 hours of patient assessments. Students may start at the beginning of fall or spring semesters.
