The EMT program is a semester-long course designed to train students in basic emergency care concepts. Upon completion, students will be eligible to take the National Registry written exam for certification. The program includes a mix of classroom instruction, practical skills practice, and field experience to ensure students are prepared to enter the workforce as competent EMTs. The course also covers scene size-up, patient care, and inter-facility transportation skills.
