Three-day symposium offered annually on the campus of Sanford USD Medical Center. Provides 24+ hours of live lectures and case-based learning to fulfill State and National recertification requirements. Faculty comprised of content experts and clinical staff from Sanford Health or supporting organizations.

EMT course offered in partnership with South Dakota HOSA and several school districts. Conducted through a hybrid platform of online and live learning. High school seniors attend one of two courses offered during the year as a dedicated course during the school day schedule. Hands-on lab activities held one Saturday per month.

Mobile simulation program serving a variety of clinical learning and education needs. Learning opportunities conducted on-site through the Mobile Simulation Truck or within the facility as an in situ experience. Immersive simulation scenarios provide learners opportunity to encounter various clinical situations and learn from debriefing feedback. Partner site of Simulation in Motion - South Dakota program.

Subscription-based continuing education program with live lectures conducted every Monday evening from 6-8pm CST. Covers a set curriculum presented over a ten-month timeline. Provides access to over 70+ hours of continuing education material focused on EMS topics and case-based presentations. Participants can attend live or watch recorded lectures.

Five-semester program offered in partnership with Southeast Technical College and Sanford Health. Cohort groups start in January and August each year. Students obtain paramedic certification and earn an Associate's Degree in Applied Science from Southeast Technical College. Includes live lectures, clinical rotations, skills labs, simulation and other learning opportunities.

3500+ square foot facility with two dedicated simulation suites, two dedicated debriefing rooms, clinical skills lab, control room and ancillary rooms for simulation and skills-based learning. Supports learners with various clinical backgrounds and needs. Participants experience multiple mannequin platforms offering various levels of immersive clinical encounters.

Variety of standardized courses authored by organizations like NAEMT, AHA, AAP, and others. Offered throughout the year on planned and on-demand timelines. Courses are offered in live in-person or hybrid format and are inclusive of in-person hands-on skills learning and simulation scenarios. Outreach program available for sites requesting onsite education services.

Education opportunity addressing clinical assessment and management of stroke patients cared for by EMS providers and agencies. Includes didactic education on stroke assessment and management, plus on-site hands-on opportunities to practice stroke assessment utilizing BEFAST and VAN criteria. Funded by American Heart Association and Helmsley Charitable Trust.
