The Emergency Medical Technician Occupational Skills Award program prepares students for EMT licensure. It covers the skills needed to care for the sick and injured in various settings through comprehensive training, including cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects of prehospital emergency care. Graduates can pursue careers as EMTs and must pass the National Registry EMT examination for certification.
