Foundation class introducing students to Emergency Medical Science. Covers patient assessment, managing trauma and medical issues, splinting, breathing assistance, CPR, and wound care. Consists of 240 didactic hours including 80 hours of skill and assessment labs, and 48 hours of EMS field internship.
