Prepares candidates for certification as an Emergency Medical Technician according to the regulations set forth by the State of New Jersey in accordance with the United States Department of Transportation (DOT) National EMS Education Standards. Total scheduled class time is approximately 220 hours including 190 classroom hours (70 hours practical) and 10 hours (5 hour shifts) emergency room experience.
