Prepares students for a career as an emergency medical technician under the remote supervision of physicians. Includes instruction in basic, intermediate, and advanced EMT procedures like emergency surgical procedures, medical triage, rescue operations and crisis scene management. Classroom coursework teaches the basics of emergency medical care through anatomy, physiology, pathology, and toxicology.
