This AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for a variety of healthcare professionals. The program encompasses CPR training across all age groups and includes AED usage and choking relief techniques. Each participant receives a Provider Manual as part of the course for comprehensive understanding and skill retention.

The EMT Basic Certification program at Owens Community College follows DOT standards and the national standard curriculum, preparing students for entry-level EMT roles. Students gain hands-on experience and upon program completion, are eligible for the National Registry exam. Prerequisites include a valid CPR card and driver's license appropriate for those pursuing EMT-Basic certification.
