A 16-week (fall/spring) or 10-week (summer) course designed to prepare students to enter the prehospital emergency medical services field and provide basic life support. Includes over 144 hours of classroom lectures and hands-on skills plus at least 60 hours of field and clinical internship experiences. Meets or exceeds National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards.
