A one-year ACGME-accredited fellowship for physicians interested in EMS Medicine. Fellows train in the field with Columbus paramedics, gaining experience in administration, ground, critical care, and aeromedical transport. Fellows are assigned as Associate Medical Directors for suburban Fire or EMS departments while participating in urban systems, rural departments, mass gatherings, and special events across 47 Ohio counties. The program includes flight medicine, community paramedicine, and EMS educational components.
