The Emergency Medical Provider (EMP) program is designed for students seeking careers in emergency medicine. The program provides students with the knowledge and skills required to function within the Emergency Medical Services System. Courses progress from EMT to Paramedic. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a Northeastern Junior College Certificate of Occupational Proficiency and will be allowed to sit for the National Registry Paramedic Exam. The program is 45 credits and offered in a hybrid format with online classes via Zoom and labs at Northeastern.
