This program prepares students to work as Emergency Medical Technicians according to King County standards. Students learn evaluation and emergency procedures short of physician duties, use of required equipment, and complete 13 credits to qualify for state certification. Graduates are eligible to take the National Registry Exam, meeting Washington state employment requirements upon passing.
