The EMT-B Certification Course aims to prepare participants to respond effectively to emergency situations, providing life-saving care and support. This program combines online coursework with hands-on lab sessions, ensuring students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Classes are held weekly on designated campuses, where students are required to attend in-person labs once a week.

The Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) class prepares students for a career in emergency medical services. The hybrid course includes 156 hours of instruction covering fundamental pre-hospital emergency care, such as first aid and basic life support. Students will attend weekly lab classes in various locations, supported by tuition assistance through Workforce West Virginia programs.
