Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

The Emergency Medical Technician program at Navarro College provides training for handling emergencies ranging from simple to life-threatening situations. It combines classroom lectures, skills practice, and clinical hospital and ambulance hours to prepare students for EMT certification. Successful completion prepares students for the National EMT certification exam required by the TDSHS and NREMT, contingent on a clear background check and drug screening.
