Muncie Fire Department
The Muncie Fire Department Training Division provides required training for firefighters in emergency response categories resulting in certifications from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Recruits receive over 360 hours of training including certifications in Hazardous Materials, Firefighter I/II, and EMT.
