40-credit hour Advanced Certificate program that runs three consecutive semesters starting in spring. Prepares licensed EMTs to function as advanced life support providers in accordance with Illinois Department of Public Health Emergency Medical Services Act. Students complete EMS-102, EMS-103, EMS-104, EMS-233, and EMS-237 with clinical rotations totaling 50 hours.
