EMS101 - EMS First Responder

Public Safety Training Facility

This course is designed for non-ambulance professional rescuers who are first on the scene of an emergency medical situation. It covers vital topics such as patient assessment, CPR, airway management, shock treatment, wound care, and full-body immobilization. Successful completion makes students eligible for New York State Department of Health Certified First Responder certification.

EMS109 - EMS First Responder Recert

Public Safety Training Facility

For students wishing to update skills and knowledge gained in EMS 101, this recertification course reviews patient assessment, airway management, circulatory and trauma emergencies. This streamlined program also prepares candidates for the New York State Certified First Responder recertification exam, featuring updated instruction and laboratory hours.

Fire Protection Technology Degree
