Semester-long course that qualifies students for National Registry EMT certification and Massachusetts State EMT-B licensure. Students learn physiology, pharmacology, acute medical conditions, trauma and shock management through lectures and hands-on lab training including patient assessment, CPR, splinting, and ambulance equipment operation.
