Basic training course covering all techniques of emergency medical care considered within the responsibilities of the Emergency Medical Technician as well as all operational aspects of the job. Emphasis on the development of student skills in the recognition of illness and injuries, and proper procedures of emergency care. 6 units, 4 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.
