24-hour course for personnel who may assume control of a hazardous materials incident beyond awareness level. Covers site operations, hazard identification, PPE, chemical protective clothing risks, and decontamination. Prerequisites: NJ Firefighter 1, IMS Level 1, Hazmat Awareness, and Hazmat Operations (copies required with registration). Tuition: $125 in-county, $150 out of county. Max 18 students.
