It emphasizes High-Quality CPR and team dynamics, training both single-rescuer and team skills. The course is designed for healthcare providers, ensuring they are prepared to handle cardiac emergencies effectively.

The EMT Basic Course covers foundational knowledge and skills necessary to stabilize and transport patients in emergencies. This 22-week course includes clinical rotations both in the hospital and on an ambulance and aligns with basic EMS response standards.
