The EMT I Course is offered through the Paramedic Program for non-degree and degree-seeking students. The program focuses on technical knowledge, crisis management techniques, team leadership skills, and communication strategies. EMT students are certified through the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services and the course comprises hands-on, experiential-based learning modules.
