The Mary Greeley EMT course consists of 160 hours of classroom and skills lab and 32 hours of clinical and ride time. Students learn anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, patient assessment, airway management, cardiac arrest management, shock, pharmacology, ambulance operations, radio communications, and more. Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6-10 PM with 1 Saturday class each month.

PHTLS is the global gold standard in pre-hospital trauma education and is taught in 64 countries. PHTLS is appropriate for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians, and other prehospital providers. The course utilizes the internationally recognized PHTLS textbook and covers trauma education topics. Space is limited to 12 students.
