A short-term training program that provides knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency patient care and ambulance transportation. Covers patient assessment, cardiac arrest management, airway management, patient immobilization, diabetic emergencies, strokes and seizures. Prepares students to take the State of Connecticut and National Registry Board EMT Basic examination.
