The program takes approximately 14 months to complete and includes didactic classes, lab sessions, clinical rotations, ambulance ride-alongs, and a 5-day skills refinement lab. Students learn to perform in-depth examinations and treat patients with equipment and medications typically found in hospital emergency departments.
