The curriculum includes an expansion of topics covered in the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) curriculum including anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology and trauma. Students are introduced to the concepts and skills related to Advanced Life Support (ALS) care including intravenous access and medication administration. Successful completion results in eligibility to sit for the National Registry of EMT's AEMT exam.

The EMT course is now an accelerated hybrid course offering students to complete their Emergency Medical Technician certification at a quicker pace than traditional schools. Course completion will allow the student to move on to Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and/or Paramedic certification.

The Paramedic program prepares students to perform as Advanced Life Support (ALS) pre-hospital providers. The program covers medical/legal issues, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, patient assessment and treatment strategies for medical and trauma patients. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to take the National Registry Paramedic certification exam.
